HIACC engineering expanded its operation by opening a new manufacturing facility in Chennai on 19 July 2019. The state of the art facility in Poonamalle has dedicated refurbishment, retrofitting, assembly line and has a testing bay. With a team of highly skilled & experienced employee, this facility will help in decreasing production lead time and more capacity addition.
Addressing the occasion, Mr. Pugazh, MD of HIACC, said, “the success of HIACC can be attributed to one factor and i.e we are changing the dynamics of the customer– supplier relationship. Simulation testing industry is quite a niche in India and customers carefully evaluate every supplier before they select one. From our first customer to the recent one, we have always prioritised the philosophy of building a relationship through ownership. It is our customer’s encouragement and supports in the construction of this new facility”.
“ HIACC is playing an active role in “Make In India” initiative. Simulation engineering is sophisticated and being an SME the challenges are more. Yet the company successfully launched many reliability testing chambers in the last 3 years, and are used by more than 100 customers.”, concluded Pugazh.
The facility inauguration was attended by senior representatives from the testing industries and employees of the group.
